Elfyn Evans (1st) said:
“I’ve not been making it too easy for myself this morning! The first stage [SS10] was okay but we didn’t have a great rhythm through the second one [SS11]. There was very mixed grip in there and it was very difficult with a lot of stones on the side of the road. We ended with a slow puncture towards the end, but we managed to keep it on the rim so we didn’t lose too much time.
“But then in the last one [SS12] I made a small mistake. I thought I was a call ahead in the notes and got caught out – going wide and picking up a puncture. Apart from that, everything feels pretty good and the plan will be to make it a bit easier on ourselves this afternoon!”
Ott Tänak (4th) said:
“The stages are a lot nicer today – not so hard on the car and a lot more enjoyable to drive. We had a little issue with the launch and stalled on the start line of the first stage [SS10], but the feeling is much better today and it looks like we’re on the pace.
“This afternoon we just need to fine tune the handling so that we can have the confidence to keep pushing. I think that we have the speed to challenge for the podium so that has to be the plan – but we know that anything can still happen on an event like this one!”
Sébastien Ogier (5th) said:
“We didn’t have the pace that we wanted this morning and it feels as though there is something strange with the rear of the car. The car feels as though it is searching the road all of the time but for the moment we are not sure why that is.
“There is still a long way to go so if we can get things resolved for this afternoon then anything is possible – especially here in Argentina – but first we need to find a solution.”

piletitega teenib vähem kui passidega kui ligipääsu teid väga pole, minnakse enne tee sulgemist paika ja ei küsi sult keegi piletiraha
