Urmo Aava from Estonia reported: "This is the closest I get to a home rally, so I am feeling confident. I have quite a lot of experience of these roads, and even tackled the event in a World Rally Car once, so I have a good idea of what to expect. I'll be pushing hard as I have a good chance of getting some useful points here. Already we've got off to a good start."
While all eyes were on the new Swift, four Suzuki Ignis Super 1600 cars also took the start of Rally Finland's Junior World Championship event. Suzuki Sport Europe fields two cars for Kosti Katajamaki and Urmo Aava, while Pavel Valousek drives an Ignis run by Czech team JM Engineering. The final Ignis is driven by Martin Prokop and run by another Czech team, Jipocar.
jolev kirjutas:Kas on kellegil infi, kuidas need ilmaolud seal muutunud on? ikka sajab?
järgmisel katsel saab vast palju asju paika ja saab väga põnev olema
Malcolm Wilson: "Tony võiks olla veidi kiirem. Mikko teeb tegusid. Loodetavasti rada kuivab. Seni probleemide vaba sõit. Veidi läks valesti kummivalik. Rajad on mõnusalt kiired. Üritame lõpetada esikolme seas.
David Lapworth: "Atkinson lajatas kivisse. Ei midagi väga hullu. Üritame asja korda saada. Petter pole suuri vigu teinud. Õnneks on suurem vihm möödas. Ma usun, et Petter on võimeline siin võitma. Uued katsed on väga kavalad."
Krt, ma pean paraku ka minema nädalavahetuseks ja õige varsti arvutist eemale. Seega jään melust eemale, aga sõber Kolin lubas mind infoga varustada.
Seega põnevat jälgimist ja GO MARKKO!!!
Stage Flash SS 4 Ruuhimaki Weather and road conditions:
Grey sky, but improved since SS2. No rain but standing water on the road after the flying finish. The stage itself has some water in places. There are many spectators lining the stages and a lot of Estonian flags.
